Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Sales Account/Business Development Manager with deep experience in selling highly technical solutions in advanced scientific environments. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and relationship builder who thrives in complex sales cycles and is passionate about contributing to the growth of a world-class technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close high-value strategic sales opportunities within the particle accelerator and related industries.
- Apply advanced solution-selling techniques to understand customer needs and position D-Pace’s offerings effectively.
- Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize revenue and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
- Represent D-Pace at industry events, conferences, and prospect/customer meetings globally.

Qualifications

- Hands on experience in leveraging CRM tools to support the selling process

Position Overview
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality of products from design to production, supplier management, and final delivery to customers across various sectors.
They will support in implementing and maintaining the company’s quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
The Quality Engineer will work closely with design, procurement, production, and suppliers to ensure that all components and final products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and cross-functional teams during product design and development stages to establish product-quality control plans and testing protocols.
- Define inspection criteria and standards for new and existing products in the preparation of Product quality plan documentation.
- Assist in supplier selection and qualification by conducting supplier audits, reviewing their quality systems, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Implement supplier quality agreements and monitor supplier performance through incoming inspection, quality reports, and corrective actions.
- Resolve supplier quality issues by working with suppliers to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and regularly update key quality documentation, including Control Plans, Inspection Plans, Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
- Support implementing ISO 9001:2015 processes, including process control, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all documents are appropriately controlled and aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and also align to the specific compliance needs of the customer.
- Collaborate with projects/production, suppliers, and QA to keep records accurate and current.
- Implement and maintain document control procedures to track revisions and ensure documents are available when needed.
- Assist in internal and external audits for ISO 9001:2015 certification and other relevant quality standards.
- Train production and inspection staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Eligible for registration with EGBC
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to design, product quality planning, and supplier management processes.
- Must have experience working in an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of quality assurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or related certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus but not required.

Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, and assemble electrical systems, including power distribution, controls, and PLCs. This role involves generating and updating comprehensive drawing packages and transforming these designs into functional products through panel wiring and assembly, requiring specialized knowledge in electrical engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of electrical components and systems including wiring panels, using schematics and 3D models, ensuring components are accurately connected, labeled, and tested according to design specifications. This includes verifying that wiring aligns with safety standards, troubleshooting any issues during assembly, and adjusting as necessary to achieve a fully functional and compliant panel.
- PLC Design and solution implementation and wiring, assembly, testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with hand tools such as drills, angle grinders, and saws.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and investigative tasks on prototypes, products, and D-Pace research facilities.
- Write and manage documentation, including design control documents (requirement specifications, design notes, failure mode analyses, test reports), product documentation (specifications, manuals, certificates of conformance, investigation reports), and research reports (conference posters and papers), and website content.
- Use electrical tools (oscilloscope, current meters etc.) for trouble shooting and testing.
- Handle project management and hands-on tasks associated with customer product builds, including schedule management, part ordering, assembly, testing, documentation, packaging and shipping.
- Manage vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective production of parts and assemblies, maintaining quality control.
- Enhance D-Pace’s cost-efficiency in product development by optimizing the use of Fishbowl Manufacturing software for tracking and managing product bills of materials (BOMs), costing, delivery schedules, and inventory control.
- Improve products for safety, performance, reliability, and cost through optimized manufacturing methods, tools, fixtures, and workflow.
- On-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing customer support both remotely and on-site.
- Calculations and simulations – such as circuit analysis using SPICE (or equivalent) for circuit boards, cables, power supplies and loads (e.g. inductive magnetic loads).
- Software design including software for motion control, signal processing, beam diagnostics and analysis, and data processing.
- Creating and maintaining through revision control procedures drawing packages, electrical schematic, 3D models, Bills of materials and wire diagrams with electrical design software such as SolidWorks Electrical.
- Perform and participate in FATs with team members to validate functionality and ensure quality standards. Prepare and maintain informal and formal documentation, including test sheets and design notes, for each project and outgoing product.
- Represent D-Pace at conferences and tradeshows as required, engaging with industry professionals and showcasing company expertise and products.
- Follow D-Pace Professional Management Plan.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Obtain and maintain engineering certifications (P.Eng. as soon as cumulative work experience permits), fulfilling all professional development requirements, including completing necessary continuing education hours, attending industry workshops, and participating in relevant professional societies. Stay updated on engineering best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in the field to ensure compliance with professional standards and to support the company's commitment to engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a engineering environment.
- Currently legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Eligible for registration with EGBC.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with power distribution, control systems, or instrumentation in industrial, research, or accelerator settings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent design software.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and experience applying CSA Z432 / ISO 13849 or other functional safety standards.
- Experience with PLC systems (e.g., WAGO, Allen-Bradley) including programming, integration, and troubleshooting.
